Making Energy Work quarterly call

Join Sustainable Northwest’s quarterly Making Energy Work call.

OSEIA Executive Director, Angela Crowley-Koch will will share details of the newly established Solar Rebate program, available to residential customers statewide. This program was enabled through HB 2618 and passed into law during the 2019 legislative session.

Additionally, OSEIA board member, Evan Ramsey with Bonneville Environmental Foundation will share Oregon Community Solar Program updates, opportunities, and anticipated challenges that will help us navigate this new program. After years of rulemaking the Oregon Community Solar Program has taken form, with key Program Administrators in place and program rules rolling out. Program launch is anticipated in Q4 of 2019 or Q1 2020, and now is a great time to start thinking about a Community Solar Project near you.

For this call we are going to showcase new and existing energy incentives, plus a substantive update on Oregon's Community Solar Program.

We'll also discuss grants and loan guarantees for rural small businesses through the USDA Rural Energy for America Program (REAP), with Robert Wallace from Wy'East RC&D. This program provides farmers, ranchers, and small businesses financing for their renewable or energy efficiency project. It's a great way to stack incentives for your project.
