OSEIA seeks improvements to the 1.5% Green Energy Technology in public buildings requirement

OSEIA members have been installing solar panels on public buildings for years, but everyone has a story of a project that cut the solar project in the end.  The requirement currently has no enforcement mechanism, leaving projects all over the state unbuilt.  We are working with Rep. Holvey, the author of the law, to update the law to include battery storage when paired with solar and to provide an enforcement mechanism.  Stay tuned – details are still being worked out!
